BACA AWARD TITAN AIRWAYS BEST PASSENGER CHARTER AIRLINE 2008
For the second year running Titan Airways have scooped the Baltic Air Charter Association "Best Passenger Charter Airline" award.
BACA is the world's largest and most respected network for Air Charter Professionals, representing the interests of air-brokers, charter airlines, airports, business aircraft operators, freight forwarders and consultants at both a commercial and political level. The winners of five award categories were announced at the annual BACA Awards Luncheon, held at Plaisterer's Hall, London on 24 April, hosted by Channel 5 sports presenter Johnny Gould.
Titan's Commercial Director, Alastair Kiernan, accepted the Best Passenger Airline award for the second time, which was presented by Wendy Murphy of Direct Air Charter, the award's sponsor: "I am delighted to receive this award on behalf of the dedicated team at Titan Airways. This is a reflection of the effort and hard work contributed by everyone concerned and I am thrilled that these efforts have been recognised by fellow BACA members."
The Chairman of BACA, Markham Jackson said: "The awards acknowledge those who have contributed an outstanding level of service to the industry."
The winners in the other categories were:
Best Cargo Airline: African International Airways
Best General Aviation: Gama Aviation
Best Airport: Farnborough
Best Handling Agent: Signature Flight Support
