TITAN AIRWAYS ACHIEVE ETOPs 180

Titan Airways has now gained approval for ETOPS 180 (Extended-range Twin-engine Operational Performance Standards) permitting them to fly routes that, at some points, are farther than a distance of 120 minutes flying time from an emergency or diversion airport. This allows the twin-engine Boeing 757 to fly long distance routes (especially over water, desert or remote polar areas) that were previously not possible.

In gaining this new approval the Titan Boeing 757 aircraft will be able to operate worldwide.
