FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour 2018 comes to an end

Posted: Thursday 3rd May 2018

We are thrilled to have successfully completed the 2018 FIFA World Cup™ Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola. The exciting project saw the complete transformation of B737, G-POWC, including a bold Coca-Cola and FIFA World Cup™ livery, customised configuration and branded cabin.

After 97 days, visiting 51 countries, 89 different airports and travelling 146,835 kilometres, the 2018 Tour, which gave millions of people worldwide the opportunity to see the FIFA World Cup™ Trophy, concluded at the beginning of May.

In addition to the Trophy itself, personnel from Coca-Cola, FIFA and supporting agencies will be onboard, together with journalists, camera crews and a security team.

A huge amount of time and effort went into the interior, which was changed to provide a media cabin for interviews and press teams on arrival in each location. In the middle and to the rear of the cabin just 38 business class seats were in place for the Coca-Cola team and VIPs. The exterior was painted in a striking colour scheme to create maximum effect on arrival at each destination.  In many countries the aircraft was met with a water canon salute.

Here are just a handful of the pictures taken down route.
