Tangney and Titan celebrate 10 Year partnership

Celebrations for the 10th Anniversary of operation between Titan Airways and Tangney Tours took place on the 10th May with a flight to Lourdes. Titan's founder, Managing Director and Boeing 757 Captain Gene Willson who was joined by First Officer William Tangney, Tangney Tours founder John Tangney and son Nicholas Tangney, Managing Director of Tangney Tours as well as family members and Titan Airways crew and Commercial Sales team. John Tangney was presented with a commemorative engraved glass award as a memory of the day.
Tangney Tours, founded in 1974 by John Tangney, have now been operating with Titan Airways for the last 10 years. John Tangney has been joined in the business by son Nicholas, whilst his other son William flies as a first officer for Titan Airways. Over that time the passengers to Lourdes in France have been absolutely delighted with the services provided. Many of our passengers are elderly, disabled or even have terminal illnesses. For 2012 Titan Airways will operate well in excess of 100 flights for Tangney Tours, utilising all aircraft types in the fleet, from the Citation up to the 767 such is our confidence in the product and variation in the aircraft offered, and the availability to fly from almost any Airport.
