Quality & Safety Policy and Objectives

Titan Airways objective is to manage a profitable and efficient operation through the commitment of every individual. We will maintain the highest safety standards to limit the possibility of an incident or accident to as low as is reasonably practicable, and provide for a high level of customer satisfaction. This is achieved by the implementation of a Safety Management System that is fully integrated between the Titan Airways AOC, Part M and EASA Part 145 Approvals. An independent quality audit systems monitor compliance with, and adequacy of, all procedures described in the Organisation’s Operations and Maintenance Manuals. 

Titan Airways is committed to: 

1. enforce safety as one primary responsibility of all managers and employees at all times;

 

2. implement and maintain an effective formal Safety Management System integrated throughout the Organisation;

 

3. apply and monitor practices and procedures to ensure continued airworthiness,

 

4. recognising and promoting compliance with all procedures, quality and safety standards, applicable legal requirements, standards and best practices is the duty of all personnel;

 

5. recognising the need for all personnel to co-operate with the quality departments, who will maintain an audit feed back system;

 

6. provide appropriate human and financial resources to support active quality and safety management systems;

 

7. encourage a just culture throughout the organisation and thus develop openness and co-operation in reporting safety and security issues, feedback and continual improvement, at all levels of the organisation; 

 

8. ensure occurrences, incidents and errors with any possible safety implication are documented, investigated by applying human factors principles, safety risks identified and mitigated, and trends monitored;

 

9. communicate and promote the Quality and Safety Management Policy and Objectives at all levels internally and externally;

 

10. provide and maintain lines of communication throughout the organisation to ensure safety and security matters are publicised and disseminated amongst all staff;

 

11. maintain an Emergency Response Plan to ensure an orderly and efficient transition from normal to emergency operations, the management of crisis and return to normal operations as soon as practicable, and

 

12. review the Quality and Safety Policy and Objectives annually to ensure they fully meet the requirements and activities of the organisation.
