BABIES
AND INFANTS
- Babies and infants must be over two weeks of age.
- Sky cots are not available on-board Titan Airways Aircraft.
- Car seats are acceptable for infants between
the ages of 6-36 months providing that a
seat is purchased for the infant.
- Car seats must be forward facing,
have a five-point harness and conform to the British
safety standards.
It is necessary to book through the Special Requirements department.
- An adult must accompany each infant less
than 6 months.
- Additional infants aged between 6 months and 2 years,
must either be accompanied by an adult or in
a car seat.
- Nappy changing facilities are available on most of our
aircraft.
- Meals
are not provided for the infants but the cabin crew
are happy to warm baby food if required.
- Although Infants do not have a free baggage allowance,
nappies, collapsible pushchairs and buggies will
be accepted in addition to the parents allowance.
EXPECTANT MOTHERS
After 28 weeks of pregnancy, prior notification of travel
must be given to Titan Airways. A medical
certificate will be required stating the stage of pregnancy
for the homeward flight and confirming fitness to fly. Expectant mothers will be accepted for carriage up to the end of the
33rd week of
pregnancy, on the return journey.
We recommend
that all expectant mothers carry a medical certificate for intended travel.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS
Any passenger who has a serious illness, recently undergone
surgery, or has suffered a recent accident
must be cleared for travel by the company doctor.
All requests for medical clearance must be submitted to
the pre-flight department at least 3 working
days before the date of travel. N.B: Conditions
which require medical clearance include: respiratory, coronary
or infectious illness.
SMOKING, ANIMALS/ PETS
Smoking is not permitted on the majority of flights.
Pets may be carried on some routes, subject to compliance
with all statutory requirements. |
