Titan Airways is following UK, EU and IATA (International Air Transport Association) guidelines to ensure the highest standard of safety onboard.

Cleaning of aircraft

We clean all surfaces onboard with hospital grade disinfectants before every flight. This includes seats, pockets, tray tables, overhead lockers and bathrooms. We also use fogging (electrostatic spraying) to disinfect in all our cabins, ensuring no surface is left untouched.

HEPA filters

HEPA filters installed on all our aircraft use a vertical airflow and extract more than 99.999% of particles from the air, including bacteria and viruses

Inflight Service

We have implemented simplified catering procedures to reduce the risk of transmission. The high standard of our catering is unaffected.


All passengers are required to wear a mask throughout the flight and while you are transiting through the terminal. This is for to ensure the safety of your fellow passengers and our crew. We may also take check temperature before you board the flight.

Our crew

All of Titan Airways crew and ground staff are reminded of their responsibility to immediately report to the company if they have any symptoms and stay at home until they can be tested. Our crew and engineers are also tested regularly at a testing centre at our home base, London Stansted Airport. Appropriate PPE, masks and gloves, are used to further reduce risk of transmission. The crew are also trained to identify if a passenger shows symptoms before or during flight.


Our washrooms onboard are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised to the highest standard before and after every flight. We have increased the frequency of checks and sanitisation during flights. Hand sanitizer will also be available in all washrooms.

At the airport

Titan has worked closely with the airport and aviation authorities to ensure that appropriate measure are in place at airports. You will be asked to wear a mask as you pass through the terminal.
