FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR ENDED 31st MARCH 2026
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps Titan Airways has undertaken in the financial year ended 31st March 2026 to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in its business and supply chains.
Titan Airways is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all its business dealings and relationships.
As part of the aviation industry sector, we recognise that we have a responsibility to take a robust approach to slavery and human trafficking. We are absolutely committed to operating responsibly in all our business dealings to prevent slavery and human trafficking in our corporate activities, and to ensuring, wherever possible, that our supply chains are free from slavery and human trafficking.
Our business and supply chains
Titan Airways Ltd was founded in 1988 and employs approximately 400 colleagues. The company is based at London Stansted Airport and operates globally on a non‑scheduled basis, delivering ACMI, wet‑lease, passenger, and cargo charter services to airlines, corporates, governments, and the sports and entertainment sectors.
Given the international nature of our operations, including activity in regions recognised as presenting higher modern slavery risk, we acknowledge the importance of robust governance, awareness, and controls.
Policies and Governance
Titan Airways maintains a zero‑tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking.
Our approach is supported by:
- An Employee Code of Conduct
- A Whistleblowing Policy with confidential reporting mechanisms
- An Anti-Bribery Policy aligned with the Bribery Act 2010
These policies are overseen by senior management and approved at Board level.
Assessing and managing risk
We recognise that modern slavery risks can arise within international supply chains and service delivery environments.
Our risk awareness is informed by:
- The countries in which we operate
- The nature of aviation‑related services
- Labour‑intensive supply categories, such as uniforms and outsourced services
During the past 12 months, we have taken the following steps to address the identified risks.
Supply chain adherence to our values
We have a zero-tolerance approach to slavery and human trafficking and expect our suppliers and contractors to uphold the same values. We will not conduct business knowingly with anyone engaged in slavery and human trafficking practices or knowingly permit them to be carried out in any part of its business.
We are committed to complying with all applicable laws and regulations as well as conducting our supply chain activities in a fair, transparent and professional manner at all times.
Our employee uniform is currently sourced from two different companies. One in the Uk and one in Denmark. Some use labour from the Indian sub-continent and Eastern Europe. Our supplier bases its code of conduct policy on being aligned with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (the UNGPs) and expects all suppliers to sign their Supplier Code of Conduct.
Recruitment
Our standard recruitment checks of colleagues employed directly by us offer a significant level of protection. Recruitment and vetting processes are audited by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), providing independent assurance over employment standards and identity checks.
Training and awareness
All cabin crew complete human trafficking awareness training during initial and annual recurrent training. This covers:
- Indicators of trafficking
- Appropriate response actions
- Escalation routes to internal and external authorities
In addition, Titan Airways participates in a collaborative modern slavery awareness programme at London Stansted Airport, offering guidance on employee responsibilities and access to external support, including the Modern Slavery Helpline.
Confidential reporting
Titan has a confidential safety reporting system on which all colleagues are trained and encouraged to raise any concerns of safety or security.
Measuring effectiveness and continuous improvement
Titan Airways recognises that tackling modern slavery is an ongoing journey and identifying risks or concerns is an indicator of effective due diligence rather than failure.
Our focus remains on:
- Maintaining appropriate training coverage
- Encouraging reporting and transparent escalation
- Improving supplier engagement over time
We will continue to review our approach annually and enhance our statement as our understanding matures.
