We are proud to have flown the England Ladies Football Team, The Lionesses, home from Zurich following their historic back-to-back Euro Championship win last week.
On Monday 28th July, the latest addition to the Titan fleet, an Embraer E190 registered G-POWX, touched down at London Southend with our special guests and the coveted European Championship trophy on board.
Working in collaboration with Nike, The FA and Air Charter Travel, and at less than 72hrs notice, the aircraft’s exterior was customised with a special livery featuring the Three Lions badge, the Nike Swoosh and the word ‘Home’ with the H shown as ‘II’ to reflect the Lionesses two successive Euro wins.
According to Flightradar24, on the day, the flight was one of the most tracked worldwide as thousands of fans eagerly awaited the return of the newly crowned Euro Champions.
In honour of the Champions, on arrival at Southend Airport the aircraft received a water cannon salute.
We are privileged to have been chosen by Air Charter Travel and The FA to fly the Lionesses on this momentous occasion and hope to be welcoming them back onboard again soon.
