Titan Airways are proud to have supported the amazing teams at the Department of Health and Social Care and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office to safely transport 21 Ukrainian children requiring cancer treatment to the UK. The flight from Rzeszow, Poland to Birmingham took place earlier this year. The children will now receive the treatment and care they need from NHS England
Titan’s small part was to donate our Airbus A321 to carry the children, family members and the incredible accompanying NHS team, who, working with our crew, ensured the passengers could travel safely and comfortably. Titan were able to operate the flights free of charge with the support of Birmingham Airport and XLR Executive Jet Centres who also volunteered their services to the UK Government when asked by the Department for Transport (DfT), United Kingdom to support these flights.
