Titan Airways receives King’s Award for Enterprise

We are thrilled to have received the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise, in recognition of our contribution to International Trade. It’s a great honour and a true reflection of the hard work and dedication of every member of our team who run a fantastic operation serving our clients, around the clock, every day of the year.

It was also fantastic to share the news with a team from BBC Look East who came to interview our founder Gene Willson, Captain Natalie Hillier and Maintenance Manager Lee Taylor.

Commenting on the award, Gene Willson said, “It’s an immense privilege to receive the King’s Award for Enterprise. This award is testament to the hugely talented and dedicated team we have at Titan Airways and the incredible work they do. As everyone knows, the pandemic had a devastating effect on the aviation industry, but I could not be prouder of the way we responded to those challenges, returning the company to profitability and achieving outstanding sales in the past three years. I’d like to extend my gratitude to His Majesty The King and the selection committee for this honour.”

The King’s Awards for Enterprise, previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, were renamed last year to reflect His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II, by recognising outstanding UK businesses.
