Titan Airways takes delivery of first Airbus A321 freighter

At Titan Airways we are pleased to have taken delivery of our first Airbus A321 freighter. The A321P2F arrived at our London Stansted base from Singapore, following conversion by EFW, on Friday 8th January.

EFW’s conversion has two decks and offers a 28 tonne payload with a volumetric capacity of 207m3. The A321P2F is the first aircraft of its size to have containerised loading in both decks, with capacity for up to 14 containers in the main deck and 10 containers in the lower deck.

The new aircraft offers best in class economics, reduced carbon emissions and a lower noise footprint. Real time maintenance health monitoring will also ensure the highest levels of reliability.

Titan Airways are proud to be the first carrier in the northern hemisphere – and one of the first in the world – to operate the aircraft type.

We are seeing an increase in demand for our freighter services and A321P2F aircraft will enable us to offer airfreight solutions to more clients. We will be taking delivery of a second unit in February and a third later this year.
