Titan Airways’ all-cargo aircraft, a Boeing 737-300F, left the fleet at the weekend following its sale to West Atlantic Airlines.
The freighter, registered G-ZAPV, had mainly been employed in a role delivering the Nation’s post, operating nightly on behalf of the Royal Mail, and flew in Royal Mail colours for much of its time with us.
The departure of G-ZAPV leaves room for the addition of other aircraft to the Titan fleet and we are actively seeking a second Airbus A320 following the successful introduction of our first aircraft of this type, G-POWI, earlier this year.
Titan’s cooperation with the Royal Mail is ongoing with our three Boeing 737-300QCs engaged in night mail operations until at least 2017. The QC aircraft are also available for private passenger and cargo charter outside of their commitments to the Royal Mail.
