IOSA Registration Opens New Doors in Europe

Posted: Wednesday 10th July 2013

As some of you will know, Titan Airways recently successfully attained IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registration.  The IOSA Audit, which was undertaken primarily for the significant operational and safety benefits offered, is also proving to be a valuable commercial asset.

The successful completion of the audit just three months ago has already opened the doors to new sub-charter opportunities with a number of European carriers, including Air Berlin, Germania and Primera Air Scandinavia.

The three carriers, who all insist on IOSA registration when contracting third parties to cover their flight operations, have made use of Titan sub-charter services for the first time in recent days.

Titan Airways provided a day’s ACMI coverage with our Boeing 737-300 aircraft for each of the three carriers on a variety of dates within the last week.  Routes operated included internal flights within Germany, flights between Germany and Menorca and flights between Scandinavia and Turkey.
