Titan Airways Kicks Off Frankfurt Music Event

On Friday 5th June Titan Airways operated one of our more unusual charter flight requests, welcoming onboard festival goers, entertained by a live dj.
Air charter broker Hunt & Palmer booked the Boeing 757 flight, from Stansted via Hamburg to Frankfurt, on behalf of BigCityBeats World Club Dome - a huge music event held in the German city. Among the passengers of the special private charter flight were event sponsors plus lucky winners of a prize draw held by event organisers.
As well as the live music in-flight, the aircraft was used as a venue for an after party that night. Frankfurt Airport, one of the event sponsors, threw the party for around 800 people in Terminal One where a nightclub was set up at the end of one of the piers with our aircraft used as a chillout zone.
As well as the live dj, sound system and lighting, the aircraft featured event branding inside and out.
It’s not the first time that Titan Airways have hosted live dj’s or musicians onboard our aircraft. Past music highlights include two successful World Record Breaking Gig in the Sky flights with Jamiroquai (2007) and James Blunt (2010).
